Reportedly more than 7000 people with swords and solid bamboo staff from Hlaing Tharyar and Htandabin township are trying to enter Yangon city. At the moment they all are confronting with security troops near the Hlaing bridge. According to a Yangon resident survivors from Hlaing Tharyar have been suffering from hunger for 3 weeks after cyclone nargis.
All roads to Hlaing Thayar are blocked.
