Myanmar: International Condemnation; Continuity in Burma

International community condemned jailing of activists, but many activists are continuously jailed in Burma. International communities are nothing but loudspeakers, and junta is a knife. More than 20 people were sentenced today. You will see the list below:

11 years imprisonment:

Ko Min Han, pro-democracy

9 years and 6 months imprisonment:

Ma Honey Oo, 21-year-old, final law student from Dagon University

8 years and 6 months imprisonment:
*Unknown three monks*
*Ven. U Candima*, chief monk of Kyar Monastery and Ko Wanna( They will be charged with another acts on Nov 23)


7 years and 6 months imprisonment:

(11 members of NLD party)
Ko Than Naing, Ko Than Win, Ko Thant Zin Myo, Ko Kyaw Soe Win, Ko Myo Kyaw Tun, Ko Win Myint, Ko Yan Naing Tun, Ko Mee Thway, U Min Min, U Tin Yu and Ma Hla Hla Maw

6 years and 6 months imprisonment:

Ko Myo Khaing

5 years imprisonment:

Ma Myat Myat Theint(for donation food to the monks during the Saffron Revolution)

4 years and 6 months imprisonment:
*Ashin Ghosita, Ashin Jatila* from Nge Kyar Yan Monastery

2 years imprisonment:

Ko Myo Yan Naing Thein
Ko Min Min Soe
